This is a West Coast IPA from Pretoria Fields in Albany, GA. I love this little brewery in S. GA, very underappreciated. They grown their own grains down there. Shoalie is 6% ABV and named after the Shoal Bass. Citra, Ekuanot & El Dorado hops give it some unique tropical fruit aromas along with citrus and a unique herbal/earthy note (from the Ekuanot). What I like most about it is it has a notable but clean bitterness that fades away rather coating the tongue. Makes it easy to have that 2nd one. Cheers!
