[IMG] Tonight's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup:

    1) Veltins Pilsner (4.8%):
An authentic German Pilsner with flavors of pale Munich malts with a grassy and moderately bitter yeasty finish. Dry and Crisp.
    versus
    2) Ayinger Pilsner (5.3%): An authentic German Pilsner with flavors of toasty pale Munich malts. An earthy yeast before a smooth, lightly sweet finish.

    3) BlackStack Kveik 755 (6.8% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra, Amarillo, and Azacca hops and Kveik yeast for flavors of orange, mango, papaya. A prickly citrus and soapy finish.
    versus
    4) Drekker Pizza Toots (7.0% canned 7/11/22): A NEIPA from North Dakota with CTZ, Rakau & Ekuanot hops for flavors of dank and resinous orange, herbs, earthy cannabis. A herbal lemon finish.
    (Both pairs correctly matched blind)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winners:

    1) Veltins Pilsner:
My top two favorite German Pils head to head. I think this one stands as the best. Nails all of the flavors, but the yeast imparts a wonderful flavor atop a dry and crisp body. Ayinger has a larger body, for a sweeter and smoother flavor. Preference, but I dig the crispness and yeast flavor of Veltins more. The 79 rating on here surprises me.

    3) BlackStack Kveik 755: This one drinks even better than their original 755. The same orange, pineapple, creamy mango flavor, but with a slightly soapy and prickly citrus mouthfeel. Pizza Toots was dank and earthy, and now I understand the name.

    Nice collection of snares!!

A drummer friend of mine had DW make him a custom snare out of purple heart. I'm looking forward to seeing that!

Having another Stone IPA. I love it how my Chromebook waits until it's at 1% battery life to warn me. I love these little suckers for everyday use, but c'mon man, fix that, please. Much love, from the Hunter.
