2 cans remain of Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA. Wish it were availible here as it would certainly fly off the shelves. I brought back like 2 cases from Ohio. It's as good as locally brewed Summit regarding it's overall taste & feel, which are excellent, but HH is 7.5% ABV and is a bit more crunchy. Cheers!

 

What did you do, buy a case?

Hop Butcher Snorkel Squad IPA (Citra pellets and cryo). First Hop Butcher in a while and it's one of my favorites by them. Orange sorbet, orange zest, ripe clementine, ruby red grapefruit, dried mango, some ripe pineapple, floral, dank green chive, orange/grapefruit pith, pine. Beers like this are why I love Citra so much despite it being over done.

 

Cooking burgers and drinking this impressive beer.

Beautiful but hot day in PA. Worked like a dog doing yard work. (Wait - the dog spent the day in the basement in front of the air conditioner. Who coined that phrase anyway??) Now recuperating on the screen porch with an Other Half Triple Dry Hopped Double Citra Chroma Daydream DIPA. (Catchy name, eh? Their marketing people have a gift....)
Whatever. It tastes pretty good right about now.



And - apropos of absolutely nothing - I always liked this one:

Big Nose IPA is what I am drinking now....

 

Still been up since 9am. I am really hungry so we are at Foothills downtown. The food menu looks amazing. I prefer when breweries have a pub/food atmosphere.

I got the foothills Munich helles. Great stuff. Great clarity. Light head and lacing. Aromas and flavors of big cracker, bread dough, toast, wood, peppercorn, pine, and herbal/ floral/ grassy hop earthiness. Mild fruitiness and muted Aromas. Moderate pine, woody, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium high carb, light to medium body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky hops mouthfeel. Light resins and lingering dryness, no astringency. Fairly crisp clean refreshing finish. Very clean lager flavors. A bit more bitter/resinous than I expected but it's a great style example. Clean malts and balanced hops. Minimal warming 5.2%. 3.98
