Pilsner a “bohemian style lager” from Von Trapp Brewing, a brewery that knows how to make Lagers. Excellent brew.

 

I stopped at a small bottle shop near work. No St. Bernardus. Checked Maine Lunch - bottled in February. Nope. Gave up and went to grocery then remembered an Advocate mentioned that they recently tapped Maine Lunch. 32 ounces for $12. That’s more like it. Cheers!

At Mills River now after a failed attempt to round up some local oktoberfest beers. For those who complain about o-fest beers in August, you need to move to North Carolina. Haven't seen one...

A dark weizenbock. Pretty good, but not my normal thing. Cheers all!

Drekker When Life Gives You Prrrts Strawberry/Guava/Pink Lemonade Fruited Sour, 5.9% ABV. Pours murky and thick light red with a ring of bubbles. Nose is mostly pink lemonade. Taste is pink lemonade and strawberry, slightly sweet, moderately tart. Decent mouthfeel, though quite over-carbonated. Overall excellent.

Last can of this beer - it actually wasn't bad once I got used to it. Probably wouldn't buy it again though. An Imperial summer beer.
