Crooked Can Cloud Chaser Hefeweizen, 5.3% ABV. Pours clearish orange with a nice 3+ finger white head that left no lacing in the mandatory fancy plastic poolside cup. Nose is not much. Taste follows, no hefe banana or clove evident. Still a good poolside beer. Decent mouthfeel, overall very good.

Two Chimay from 2014 and a Hertog Jan Grand Prestige 2013.

Like I mentioned yesterday, I had to remove some beers that I stashed in a cellar like shared space. Because of some maintenance work that will take place. Just wanted to be on the save-dide, you know builders an beer
I'm not an expert in this field, but I noticed these large bottles age nice even when not under perfect cellar condition.

One more beer before supper, on the back porch - “Transcending The Relative”, a NE IPA collab between Verdant and Finback:

Some clarity under creamy/milky gold haze; tight white head; very good cap retention; solid ring; soapy lace. Strong grape must and tropical fruit nose. White grape, earthy must entry; guava, lychee and some lemon zest bitterness; firm malt base. Medium unfiltered body; moderate minus carbonation; no warmth from 7.2% abv; no astringency. A very tasty, drinkable NEIPA style; great balance - not bitter nor sweet; blend of tropical and citrus fruit hop flavors play well off one another; outstanding.

Citra and Idaho 7 in the boil. Dry hopped with Idaho 7, Nelson Sauvin, Azacca and Citra. An amazing beer - great look, nose and taste. Unfiltered but body is light enough so that I would want a second. Well done.

One of the oldest surviving private medieval buildings in the area, built in the 1425-1450, the Chesil Rectory:
