    Next up is a new BA barleywine. Paragon - 2019 vintage. From Lervig. Aged in bourbon barrels for a year, and comes in at 13.5% ABV. Ranked #12 among English Barleywines. This is insanely good. Cheers!

    Thanks! Indeed. A half marathon today after a really tough half marathon yesterday. Trying to build back up to 100 miles/week. I should be close this week. Cheers!

    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

    Slightly hazy, yellow body; decent carbonation; one-finger thick head yet dense, rocky, and semi-creamy. Nice aroma; dried grass and thyme; white grape. Delicate malt flavor; mild bread crust; dry white wine hints; a touch of hop spiciness; mild hop bitterness. Medium body; smooth with a sly touch of velvet; semi-dry overall.

    A generally nice, well-rounded American pale ale utilizing Nelson and Cascade hops.
