I work in customer service myself. My golden rule is to let customers rant if they need to and then to say let's try to fix the issue. My end goal is to have a happy customer when all is said and done. and to never make them feel stupid even though the issue may have been their own fault.

They all get a survey to fill out when i close their ticket so I don't want them bad-mouthing me. The best survey response this week:

"Larry is the GOAT!"

I tried one. It tastes like how an empty dumpster smells haha. But to be fair not nearly as sweet as twisted tea

 

I thought the guy was gonna 86 me for a moment. He was havin' some kind of a moment. NTL I'm not goin' back there to experience the wildly dynamic bovine character and stupendously simple coconut shuffling vibe that oozes from the place.

 

Yeah I knew they have the choice to take change by law. A simple "No I have enough change atm" would have been a nicer response. With inflation I'm surprised he turned it down.

Bought a six pack of High Life today on the way home, on the second one now.

 

While I am wishing I had a Black IPA like @The_Kriek_Freak - I must do with this number.

I decided to revisit MBC's Lunch, since the first-fifth times I had it didn't really leave an impression.

Last time I had it was during the nadir point of the pandemic and let's just say I was putting more beers away on a daily basis (*cough*). So, staid, focused, and relatively sober now: this is very good.

I'm not sure there's anything about it that stands out but it is well made, balanced, good and hoppy, and just tasty. A little around 6 weeks old, kept cold (I was told by my local's owner), and so I decided why not.

Any previous negative to "meh" comments are hereby retracted. It's a good Beast Coast interpretation of a west coast IPA and I have zero issues with it.

It's a great beer. Not as good as Doom Sauce which is my all time favorite of this style but pretty satisfying nonetheless. We get it in limited quantities over here and I only grabbed a single 4-pack but if you reeeaaaalllly want it (I know the feeling, bro) I'm happy to get some more and send it your way. Cheers!
