    Bottled 8/8/22. Poured at 56° Today I’m picking up some coffee notes in addition to the chocolate fudge and maple…I may have to go buy more to add to my cellaring stash!

    My doc has been encouraging me the last few years to get the pneumonia, tetanus, and shingles vaccinations. I got the pneumonia vaccination (and a flu shot) last autumn with no side effect. I told him I would get the tetanus vaccination my next visit (thought getting more than two shots at the same time was enough) but was hesitant about the shingles vaccination because of the stories I have heard especially that it could bring on a case of shingles. I am not sure what I should do.

    Get yourself educated about it and decide. If you get a severe case of shingles you'll be wishing you got that vaccine but then it will be too late. The thing with the shot is that the discomfort is temporary, while an actual case of the shingles can impact you for a long time.
