Love the Helios - a $4 bottle round here and had a nice pucker factor and pepper kick. The Hop Devil is great as well when fresh.

Poké is a raw salad, typically Ahi. In this case, that runs true. It is sesame Ahi over a seaweed salad bed. Huge serving for two as an appetizer.

Victory is awesome. I like the headwaters pale ale, hop wallop, prima pils, hop devil, I could go on...

I love hop devil, one of my favorite ipas. But, last week I ordered it at a really good bar around here and it tasted horrible. Looked at the bottle and the best by date was April 30th 2012!! learned the hard way that much age can ruin a hop devil. :slight_frown:

Storm King and Hop Wallop are stellar beers. I've tried HopDevil on two seperate occasions, and I hated it both times. That being said, I never had it fresh. In fact, both times I had it, it was at least 6 months past the best-by date.

I would go to Victory more often if The Station Taproom wasn't right down the road!

Love Victory but few IPAs are better than Two Hearted including Devil.

Victory will never get they hype of some other breweries on BA. They don't excel at the typical hyped styles. They don't produce a standout IPA, and there are better, readily available imperial stouts and barley wines out there.

What they do really well are more sessionable brews, German styles and Belgians. Their Lager, Helios, Braumeister Pils, and St Boisterous are all top notch. The brewpub is great and I love that they keep their beer reasonably priced and available in 6 packs.

    Love: Prima

    Really like: Golden Monkey

OK: Baltic Thunder, Storm King, Hop Devil

Not a fan of: Yakima, Saison du Buff

There are many other breweries producing better beer than Victory, at around the same price point. In my opinion. Except for Prima, which is the shit. Not my opinion, fact.

They had a Harvest Pils on tap at the brewery a month or so ago.....probably the best Pils I've had. Better than Prima, brought home a Growler of it that was disappeared way too fast.

@Buffs9: "Am I the only one that thinks Victory sucks? Maybe I just get old beers sent to me in trades?"

You must have gotten some old or bad beers, because most of the regular line are very good; I was 20 minutes away from the brewery last week and kick myself in the ass for not making the trip there. Get some fresh beer, like the Prima Pils, Hop Wallop, Storm King Stout or HopDevil and you will be a fan.

Hop devil was one of the kegs at my wedding back in the 1990's. I drink prima and summer love all summer long. Right now I am drinking a yakima. Love me some moonglow too. Very solid beers. Tap only donnybrook and alla spina and midland stout are really good. Not a big monkey fan nor storm king.

Helios at less than $3.50 a bomber is an awesome beer. I have a case sitting in the basement right now. It will age great for this summer.

    Amazing customer service

Try the ice cream it made with wort and very good.

Growler fills are good price, food is ok.

Otto in oak was my favorite beer last year, did not find any this year

Solid brewery and with expansion they will have lots of room to experiment.

    Enjoy

First time I had HopDevil I wasn't a fan. Pretty sure it wasn't very fresh. Had it a little while after that at a friend's B-day party at a Chinese restaurant cause it was the only IPA available and liked it a little more. Last week I picked up a fresh six pack (about two weeks old), and HopDevil is a great IPA. Also, the price is hard to beat.
