    ...thanks...it's been years since either one of us were there...I was really hoping to hear some elk bugling (or seeing elk), but we had mice, turkey (and other birds), and mule dear along with good weather, so other than an achy hip (must be the hill climbing - :grin:), the beer analgesic treatment is making that all a dim yet comfortable memory...truly, Mueller State Park is a small gem (amongst many) in Colorado...I'm glad some of my pictures might give people a sense of the place...geez, it was only 15-20 years ago when I used to make this hike yearly - my annual 'run with the elk'...an artificial knee kind of precludes the running part, but Mrs. BG and I can still hike the crap out of the place...

    Good evening, all! It's an Ohio pairing tonight. I'm drinking North High (Columbus) Hazy Pale with a Tony Packo's (Toledo) Hungarian Hot Dog with onions, sauerkraut, and mustard. This beer is pretty slammable for a "non-session" pale (5.8% ABV). I also have a pretty fresh Zombie Dust on hand, which I'll save for another day. And a Grisette and some Icelandic wee heavy. It was a profitable beer run. :slight_smile: Cheers!
