On this day, 50 yrs ago.
My father, with four kids, an understanding , loving wife, a Ford Falcon four door, and one weeks pay in his pocket.
Began a business, that continues today, with 3 of their children now keeping the tradition of commitment to craft, integrity, community in tact.
A scholarship in that tradition has been accepted by the vocational school, both parents graduated from, and will begin distributing in the next school year.
