Good day BAs! I took yesterday off as a much needed cleanse day with a 24 hour fast. My back went out again this past weekend and is quite vexing, so upon doctor’s orders - BCBS (2019):

Bottled 8/18/19. Poured at 54°. Delish, and the 14.7% (plus heating pad in chair) seems to help - other than a little filing, I’m fairly inactive today - Cheers y’all !

Brought to you from Croydon, Pennsylvania. A very croydon post plus shitty hot dog

I watched a kid pull his hoodie sleeve over his hand and grab a roller dog like that.

This beer has the same yeasty quality that some lighter Belgian beers do its strange and probably just aceteldehyde. Was looking for a smaller format. But the dude in the store is like. "It's $12 bro" and with that he's right and I'm sold. Going to throw in the fridge for the band mates. It's whatever.

    Also grabbed some natty bo

    Howdy Advocates!

Beauty of an afternoon here in central NH.

Starting off with this tasty lager...

Finally getting to the last piece of the puzzle. After cutting, hauling, and splitting ~6 cord of Ash located 2 properties away I've cut in a nice path through the woods from the pile and at last I'm beginning to hump wheelbarrow loads over to my property. I'll grab about 3 cord which goes for at least $1.200 around here for this quality of wood. Should be under 20hrs total work, so it's well worth my effort and is certainly good to burn off a few beers!

    Cheers!

Managed to get out of the house, swim across the bay, landing at Pier 39 with the seals at Fog Harbor, getting ready for my Ciopinno with a 21st Amendment DIPA Hazy IPA.

Dark, inky colored body; no lasting head. Rich, dark grain aroma; grain char; wood-like; raisins, dates; leather; earthy cocoa and chocolate. Deep, complex dark malt and boozy flavors; milk chocolate with bourbon notes; figs and tobacco; roasted grains; brown sugar. Heavy body; velvety with a mild stickiness; big alcohol warmth.

Another glorious offering from Hoppin Frog...

As a vertically challenged American, I love athletes like José Altuve (who would be a fantastic player regardless of stature)—but I’m really hoping the Mariners win this series. As one of the announcers just mentioned, the last time this team made the playoffs, outfielder Julio Rodriguez was 9 months old. Cheers! Play ball!

My last King Al. Glad I was able to drink it all before it aged more. I didn't spin or rotate the can on this pour and it looks way better.

    Cheers y'all!

Finally done with work for the day. Got a pot of minestrone soup cooking for dinner tonight. Makes for some good comfort food on these cooler fall days. Minestrone is kind of like chili - everybody has their own recipe/variant that they prefer. Mine is a bit spicy with a hint of Cajun seasoning along with the Italian seasonings.

    Thank you sir! Cheers!

Indeed plenty. And between neighbor and me we'll be sitting on ~10 cord total.

This is all recreational fuel for our fire pits. I have a fireplace but rarely use it.

Was delighted to find one more of these lurking in the fridge!

EDIT: 2020 was last time I lit the fireplace indoors. Wow, I need to change that stat soon.
