Happy Friday! Just sitting down by the fire pit getting the weekend started! Kicking it off with Treehouse, “Nine”!

 

Yeah, I was lucky today - and it's tasting fine as always. Really heavy on the nutmeg

Just did a bit of MAC1 laced with some Forbidden SkittleZ Kief. Nice

 

First-class local saison from Wild Heaven. Listening to a new LP pressing of one of, in my humble estimation, the 3 greatest thrash albums, along with Reign in Blood and Darkness Descends.

Finally got around in trying this! It didn’t disappoint! So crisp and refreshing with a hint of sweetness to it.

Harland Brewing, “Haupia Milkshake IPA,” w/coconut, macadamia nut, shortbread cookie, and lactose. 7% ABV.

 

Foster's Lager, 5% ABV. Pours golden with a 5-finger white head that left great lacing. Nose is malty and sweet. Taste follows, plus slight grain and bitterness. Decent mouthfeel, overall very good. Be sure to say "Foster's" with an Australian accent.

Had it before, but never reviewed it. This one was actually brewed in the US.

 

The first IPA I had (15 or 16 years ago???) was Two Hearted. It blew me away.

The second IPA (DIPA-style) was this iconic beer. I drank two in about 30 minutes.

And then I took a nap. What a delicious howitzer of a WCDIPA this beer is. I used to buy a case every year, but now I savor a 6er. Still an ATF for this old beer nerd. Truly world class stuff, IMHO, especially when it’s fresh, which this is.

That's good to know. I plan to buy what the sheriff will limit me to. All the seasonals has been going like water. I remember them lasting longer last year.

That sounds delicious. I got more MAC this week. It's been nice. I have been sufficiently medicated.

 

I work in the shipping industry so had our Christmas party yesterday before the Holiday craziness. Did a gift exchange and scored on a bottle of Pliny and some makers.
