    Here ya go buddy. I had to scrounge around for the pic...the amt of ghost on the toothpick is enuf for a 12 or 16oz beer. Ghost isn't a creeper heat. Instant heat. Cheers!

    Happy Halloween everyone, it's time to sample some of my first batch of homebrew!

    It looks like homebrew, but it tastes like an English nut brown! Not half bas, as that's what I was going for. I didn't use any whirlfloc in this batch, and it's an extract beer with some steeped specialty grains, but hey it's pretty good, if not slightly sweet.

    In the future I'll be using either all-grain or partial mash methods but cheers to a very drinkable first batch of beer! :beers:

    Courtyard, beer and book time. Orval in the glass, which is just wonderful as always. Starting Fixer Chao by Han Ong. A book I randomly came across at my local used book store a while ago, decided to give it a go. Finally reading it. So far, its raunchy, sarcastic and sardonic. Which I like :slight_smile:
