I got home at seven and there were three strollers parked in my driveway so I had to take a lap around the block. Treacherous as there were small groups of costumed marauders amidst the two feet of leaves on each side of the road.

Twilight here in SWFL, the half moon is out, the street has a few neighbors sitting at the end of their driveways in costumes with candy…no takers…wrapping things up with a Hazy Little Thing:



Better turnout than last 2 years: 15 kids and 7 costumed adults trick or treating old school. I loved trick or treating as a kid in the 60s…back then it was the rare house that was dark, but even then a bowl full of candy was left on the porch…great memories…I hope the practice survives and outlives me…Cheers gang!

 

Somehow, Phase Three Brewing Co out of the greater Chicagoland area escaped my beer nerd radar. They were suggested by my friend @FBarber and they are the real deal, IMHO. I could literally drink this through a straw. Delicious stuff and exceptionally well executed.
