    Twenty-one pieces light up (a few also play music/ moan and groan/give fortunes, etc.), a couple just move, 27 in all…about 1/2 of my collection. What can I say? I love Halloween!

    We had about 20-25 kids, lots of little guys which is fun to see. Bacon/onion pizza with a vegetable in the form of Other Half Brewing Broccoli DDH IIPA. Thanks so much @DoctorZombies for adding this to our trade....amazing!!

    Outstanding pale yellow body; huge head, spongy texture, sculpted, long lasting. Fine aroma; light, bready malt; biscuit; a dab of honey; mild, slightly floral note in the background. The flavor nicely mimics the aroma; beautiful gentle malt sweetness; mild to moderate hop bitterness; a touch of herbal hop flavor. Medium body; slight coarseness on the palate; moderate residual sugar density; nice balance between sweetness and dryness.

    Dovetail has brewed a nice take on the helles lager style. It easily meets all the BA style descriptions. A very pleasant sipper.

    ...and Ballast Point certainly caught a lot of flack when they were bought (I believe) by Kings and Convicts Brewing...I don't know if anything really changed with the beer, though. It was once widely distributed in Colorado, but I haven't seen it in years...

    My wife is a teacher at the elementary school of our neighborhood. Today was the costume parade:

    Right along here ba. Kbs, maple Mackinac fudge variant. Always impressive at how smooth and clean these drink at its high abv. The fudge does really seem to over dominate the beer as a whole. I’m not in love w/ it but it’s decent drinking none the less,
