A little less windy today… at least I can go outside. Damn, Founders knows how to do breakfast. Cheers, BAs!

Ok, that makes two BAs whose opinions I respect recommending that brew this morning, I’ll have to grab a 4 pack on my next beer run

Agreed! I haven’t seen it yet here in SWFL, but when I do I’ll grab a 4pk. Cheers!

I'll be a dissenting opinion, I thought this was going to be the one founders left alone. As much as I enjoyed the regular, I'm afraid I'm not going to visit this beer out of a necessity to myself to have an option for non flavored ba beers on my shelves.

Brooklyn is probably the brewery from the US I’ve had the most beers from, and this is their flagship as far as I can tell. Each of those I drank were good but not to this league. Brooklyn IPAs are good, their lager too, even their sour, BBCS is special.

    Odd looking label too, agreed.

Milestone morning for me BAs…working on my #1000 rating/review on this site - Bourbon County Double Barrel Brand Toasted Barrel Stout (2021):

Poured at 54°. An OMG imperial stout! Aged 1 year in Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon Barrels, then 1 year in Elijah Craig Toasted Bourbon Barrels. Vanilla and bourbon. I’m gobsmacked. Tasting notes in a few over on NBW.

Admittedly, I’m a much more consistent ticker on Untappd (this is my 4,189th new tic, usually with a mini review) but I’m a lazy slacker when it comes to doing full reviews for BA… I have picked up my review pace a little this year…and today’s beer is absolutely fantastic. Cheers and have a super Sunday y’all!

I had no desire to try that beer when I first saw it and passed it by the other day at the beverage center, but I’ve seen enough positives posted in WBAYDN that I feel pretty confident that I’ll enjoy it. Btw axe throwing is a great team building activity

Hey BA's - happy back to Standard Time Sunday! Up early - as usual - Emma and I did our usual 2 miles, then the grocery store, laundry, and some grass mowing / leaf bagging, now making lunch for my mom....whew!

    This is hitting the spot!

Brooklyn lager was the only other beer of theirs that I ever drank in quantity and used to really enjoy it, but I haven’t had it recently. I make the BBCS an annual purchase. Their beer is contract brewed about 90 miles from my house, I think the European contract brewing makes it a natural choice for you too

Haven’t seen that one in many a moon. Good beer. I also like its strong ale sister Old Crafty Hen.
