What beer are you drinking now? #3686

I had forgotten how great a song that is. It marks a point in time. The vocals, lyrics, and guitar are great, but that solid percussive backbone is outstanding..

 

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, all! Starting off the evening with this Odell Lugene, double chocolate milk stout.

 

After all these years, this is the first time I'm having this one

 

Une Annee - Le Seul XVI, AMerican wild ale fermented with blackberry and lemon

This beer pours a nice light brown color from the can, but turns more dark amber in the glass. The head is a light tan color, and 2 finger. The head retention is decent, and there's good lacing on the glass.
The nose is malty, as expected. To me it has a lot of caramel notes to it.
The flavor is malty. I get lots of caramel with a nutty flavor as well. There's a slight dark fruit flavor that pops in for me - raisin, plum. The finish is slightly bitter.
Body is slightly light, but not watery at all.
This is a solid beer, and I am enjoying it a lot.
