Had tons of fun with snow. Metric tonnes of it. High time I tried Fiddlehead IPA. Oh man...love at 1st sip. I like dank, and this has it. Salute!

 

Last 1 in the fridge. Planning on hitting Manhattan Project for more tonight. I also put my pick up order in on 4 more packs of Double Yellow Rose. Had a case left, came so close to buying the case but figured I'd be nice and leave a few for someone else.

Hell I'm looking at all of the snow pics from y'all up north and thinking how the fuck y'all get use to it. We got a small cold front in, it's 50 something lol.

 

Goose Island BCBS ... 2022 12 oz bottle... GI blend... mentioned before, a fudge booze bomb but excellent. I've previously had BCBS and barleywine a decade or so ago when VA Beach's Grape + Gourmet was still in business (and this was WAYYY cheaper). The 4pack is a good buy, same price as a Dogfish Head WWS and worth trying IMO. Check the 12oz bottles for diff blends. I know GI is all-blend/Goose Island blend... and I know there's a Willet and others.

 

Well, I remember your summer temps and thought the same thing. I really enjoy the seasonal change and spend as much time outside as I can. Like they say you can always put on a jacket, but if it's hot there's not much you can do about. The main thing is we're prepared for the snow, we got 6 inches Sunday night, and nothing closed, the streets were dry by the afternoon. One year the schools closed because it was -15 degrees, we all went out and played hockey on the pond all day

 

Beer # 2 as I wrap some gifts and listen to some holiday tunes.....life is rough

I like the seasonal changes to. I like our Spring and Fall. Your right about that our summers do get pretty brutal, that's when the pale lagers take stage. We're almost never prepared for snow/ice tho. Literally the sky will be coming down and we'll still be trying to run 70 on the highway.

That sounds like fun. Iv always wondered what it was like skating on a frozen pond like that. I'd say the most snow I ever say was visiting Germany during winter. Course life was going on like usual there. Was awesome for the Texans to see.

 

Enjoying a little Jackie O's and some Paul McCartney and Wings on this cool and rainy late fall day here in Western NC. Neapolitan is definitely not the best of the Dark Apparition BBA variants but fun to try.

Well, went to the audiologist this morning and after testing, she said I have broad hearing loss across the spectrum. Good news is that the hearing aids have been ordered but I won't get them until January, no cost to me.

They're also Bluetooth controllable which is a nice feature. The rest of my day at work sucked so I'm glad to be done for the day. Having this ..

 

If you live up in New England I think a snow blower is a must have. I don't shovel this crap any more, it's not good for people. I have a pretty heavy duty snow blower that I just got back from being tuned up and serviced.

It's a commercial grade Ariens with a 32" wide intake by 24" high, 13 HP Tecumseh engine.
Makes quick work out of the pile of snow the plows leave at the end of the driveway.

The only time I shovel snow is when it's 3" or less of light snow that I can tackle with my push shovel. This is the best push shovel I've found, I love it .. my review under the name ElVee.

Nice. I have Ariens Deluxe 28" and a plow on a Honda four wheeler. They sure make it easier.
