    Yeah - that's pretty cold for your area! I feel quite a bit better today, not coughing as much but still not 100%. I haven't been sleeping well because of this shit so I picked up a melatonin supplement to see if that helps me get a good night sleep. I've been waking up around 2 am and then having difficulty falling back asleep. Hopefully this helps.

    We got freezing rain for about half the night. We're not going anywhere with the amount of ice we have on the roads right now. I'm pretty comfortable with this kind of weather, and even I think it's too dangerous to walk very far, let alone try to drive anywhere.

    So, @jonphisher provided me with a lovely kind-of-weather-appropriate beer: Troegs - Double Blizzard.

    Yeah it's cold! If we see precipitation we're fucked. :grin:

    I had trouble sleeping to. Especially the few days I didn't drink/took it easy. I slept pretty hard last night. Thought I was going to have to attend a party tonight but it's moved to Sunday luckily so that's good gives me a few more days. Not smoking any ganj is probably effecting your sleep to. I know I sleep light when I don't smoke.

    No - I self tested for Covid and it was negative. Not sure WTF it was but it was all primarily respiratory in nature. No fever or headache, just an annoying dry, hacking cough and a lot of congestion in my lungs. I started taking Tussin to break up the congestion and it's helped a lot. I definitely feel like I'm starting to get over it.

    A lot of crap going around at the moment. In some ways, it felt like a milder version of the flu - there was a couple of times at night while I was trying to sleep that I experienced the chills for a few moments. Cheers!

    I used a space heater on the wall behind the washer and got that working. Still waiting on the HVAC guys. Glad I spent that money on the fall tune-up a month ago...

    Pale, golden yellow body, hazy; thin yet lasting white head, soft and spongy. Beautiful aroma of lemon and lime, saffron and dandelion; just a hint of brett funk. The taste comes across as a fuller, earthier take on the aroma; moderate citrus notes, primarily lemon; sage; very mild bitterness undertone. Medium-heavy body; soft and bubbly on the palate; moderate acidic bite; light tartness and dryness.

    I'm guessing some sort of farmhouse / saison beer.

I tend to stash things away here and there so things get lost in the shuffle...in this case, I had this bottled put in with various wines anyway, a mystery beer from the New Beer Sunday (NBS) Beer It Forward (BIF) #15...
