The kids went to Carton today and brought me some Gilded Lily - the Tripel brewed with truffles. I've always liked this ale. It paired great with roasted chicken. Cheers!

Dogfish Head Shelter Pale Ale - My first time having this beer. Pours from a can (BB May 2023) a nice clear light orange color, decent head. The nose is fairly hoppy, taste is about perfectly balanced and this is good stuff. Nothing too special but refreshing and its simplicity is what makes it enjoyable to me...I wish the Pale Ale style was as popular as it was years ago. And this would be an excellent 19.2 oz can beer too. Budmo!

 

Thanks Mike, no one has it real bad, everyone that got sick is vaccinated so the symptoms aren't too bad. They managed to infect about 3 people so far, but that means people in those household have to isolate as well. it's inconsiderate.
