On numero-el-two-o right outta the gate because my wife wanted to sample some which is unusual for her on a week night. BTW, she prefers West Coast any day over Northeast hazies. Me? I can go to either Coast depending on which way the wind is blowing.

Thanks my friend. I will do my best to get by without the bourbon tonight but will rectify the oversight as soon as I get my lazy ass to the state store.

Speaking of state stores, did I ever tell you (sorry ass memory Mike) that in my younger days for three years I was the senior auditor in charge of auditing the state liquor store operations and issuing the audit report. In those days the annual report had a section about how many stills were destroyed. The inventory of the warehouse was an all day job even with a staff of six.

 

You are too kind but that is not necessary.

Unfortunately, I never had the honor of bending elbows with @scream . We did PM a lot about a host of issues. I still miss him.

Yes - I'm familiar with most of those places, the problem is that a lot of the city parks are of questionable safety, especially if you're hiking alone. Broadmoor is good - but only for weekends since I'm not retired. I have to scoff the time during my work day for a walk so driving is out. Thanks!

 

#2, I’ve had this for 7 years, and it’s traveled from Minnesota to Texas to Northern Indiana.

It was worth muling around the middle of the country. Loads of rich caramel, dark chocolate, maple, roasty char, and bourbon, in perfect balance. Absolutely love it.

When your wife and Thing 1 have a "hankerin" for Carrabba's carry-out on this fine, cold, sloppy night and I get assigned to be Uber Eats. (I didn't order anything, just picking up.) ... as I sit here sipping on a DFH60 while my Ruination is quietly sitting at home in the fridge losing carbonation.
