Chilly 50° evening on the back patio, the dogs didn’t linger and wanted back inside…drinking Corporate Ladder Brewing’s “Time and a Half” DIPA DDH with Strata:



I liked this beer on tap at the brewery last Saturday so I got a 4/pk. Strong melon husk nose, sweet strawberry taste…not your usual hazy…can’t say this is a unique flavor profile, but it is unusual in a good way, and I would not want to drink 2 in a row…does that make any sense? Cheers gang!

 

Only half a foot of snow in the last 20 hours or so requires a malty beer.

Been a good while since I've gone out to a brewery, so here I am at Kokopelli Brewing Co. right by my house. Their beer has improved drastically since the first time I tried them out over a year ago now, and their stuff is damned good, although I've yet to try Amy of their IPAs. Currently drinking Blarney Stone Irish Red with a taco pizza.

Fidens The Sound of Rain. Another world-class DIPA from these guys.

 

Great notion peanut brother stout with some homemade whole grain,peanut butter, dark chocolate cookies

That sounds/looks outstanding!

 

Humble Forager Rugged Outlook v2 TIPA/TNEIPA, 9% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a five-finger white head that left lots of lacing. Nose is citrus. Taste is juicy citrus, slightly sweet, moderately bitter. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Here's a nice lower abv stout from Ommegang...i like this series, this is the second I've had and while they taste a little artificial, they're solid brews, good mouthfeel too. I'll buy more

Sierra Nevada Powder Day IPA (Amarillo, Citra, Chinook, Comet, Herkules, Idaho 7, Mosaic, Polaris). You know you're always getting a solid IPA with SN. This one is no different. Grapefruit, floral, some peach, lemon pith, and pine. Very enjoyable.

 

Started off with the weirdest beer in the bunch from @unlikelyspiderperson
Pour is the perfect consistency that i wabt from all stouts. Not thick like syrup but almost there.
The taste trips ne the fuck out. The berries make it tasted almost perfume-ish but thats subdued in a rear naked choke by the smoked malts before that can happen.
A wild ass ride for sure. Gonna take my time with the rest of it to see what happens!
