    Finishing my Wife's Particulate Matter Session IPA. I can't even NA beers. This is 4.6% ABV and just does zilch for me in the cooler weather

    A collab with Lua Brewing, and with Sapwood Cellars. A little cat piss (Simcoe) in the nose, but the taste is straight up citrus, melon and berries. I love me some Galaxy! Cheers gang!

    ...I bought an original Billingsgate vinyl copy at Record Land in Mansfield, OH in the early 70s because I loved the cover...never heard the band, but the first spin on the turntable made me a convert (their subsequent albums were nothing like this one, but that's another story)...yeah, being a 15-year old (or so) long hair headbanger in Rust Belt, USA was a great time back then...

    ...my original LP got warped with stays in attics and machine shops in north central Ohio while I was in the military...trying to 'gently warm' the album to flatten it in the album was a disaster...I do have a newer version on vinyl, but do miss the original I had...

    @FBarber sent me this in his generous care package: Gravedigger Billy from Revolution.

    Slowly rebuilding a Windows 11 install on a new SSD after the old one shit the bed. Fucking sound drivers. Every goddam version of Windows has had problems figuring out how to use an audio device, all the way back to my first Windows 98 PC. Maybe another 25 years and they'll figure it out.

    Actually it’s excellent Alan. Well worth picking up. I don’t see a ton of Belgians from my locals around here and this one pleases, as Shorts typically does. Cheers man.

    Starting with this 12oz (@LarryV) Weathered Souls, spoils of a very recent beer run. Tipping it back with @DrOfGolf and his family in mind. Interesting IPA this one. Pithy grapefruit and pine, with a strong herbal tea backbone. Some reviewers have stated this is closer to an English IPA, and I see why.

    Very sorry to hear about @DrOfGolf Didn't have a ton of interaction with him but always enjoyed his posts. RIP and condolences to his family. Raising a glass to him this afternoon.

    This beer was a lot easier to come by this year compared to last. And tasting better than I remember it. Troegs Double Nugget Nectar. Cheers!
