You tried. Now, at least you know it does not work. Great Research and Development on this subject. Props.

I might just drink some Cantillon straight out of the bottle tomorrow. There'll be no fancy glassware.

This was supposed to be my Christmas beer, but the way I look at it... if I open it now, I'll still be enjoying this bottle after midnight. Am I doing it rite?

Merry Christmas BA! Had a FBS, Dogfish Burton Baton, SN Narwhal, and Shiner Holiday Cheer at my work party today. Shared a Duvel with the parents with dinner, Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Christmas with pie, and a Shorts Liberator while watching Christmas Story.

Got the HBO miniseries The Pacific on DVD for Christmas, watching part one while sipping on this

Earlier today. Lemon Berry Shandy for the girlfriend and Barrel Aged Rye Knot. Not the same as Bourbon Rye Knot that is listed under their page. Difference being that i think this was aged for a year in barrels and is closer to 10 %....it was amazing. I cant wait til next year to grab a bottle!

Cheers ladies and gentlemen! I hope everyone had a great Christmas Eve.

...oh and im officially rocking a new cardi that i got today. life is good

FBS that was bottled on 11/11/11. I was curious how this stuff aged. It's definitely interesting and an experiment worth trying, but after trying it, I think I like it best fresh.

Just finished nearly 4 hours of building a train table/set, timed by scenes from A Christmas Story... accompanied by a Cantillon Kriek, Hill Farmstead Birth of Tragedy, and Founders KBS (drinking now). All coincidentally 2011 versions. Now about to finish wrapping with the Always Sunny Christmas episode.

    Merry Christmas all!

Had a Founders Breakfast Stout with a dash of Woodforde Reserve added. It's like a poor man's KBS.

Went to the wifes folks place tonight. Generally speaking they will have a "craft" selection for me. Some modelo, pacifico, dos equis. You know, the good stuff. It has been this way for at least 10 years. Tonight, however, I was greeted with two bottles of KBS. Shock and Awe baby, shock and awe.
