    1) Sprecher Black Bavarian (6.0%):     A Schwarzbier from Wisconsin with flavors of dark chocolate, dark and roasted grains. Clean but flavorful.
    versus
    2) Bells' Kalamazoo Stout (6.0%): A Stout from Michigan with flavors of balanced dark and bittersweet chocolate, licorice, sweet but a hoppy and bitter bite. (Correctly matched both beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Bells' Kalamazoo Stout:     Overall these drinks pretty similar. Both are dark and roasty. Black Bavarian is clean, dark, roasty, and dry. Kalamazoo has a bit more hoppy bitterness. Sort of reminds me of a milder Narwhal if you will. Both are worth a try. Drink extremely well and ultimately I think the winner comes down to personal preference.

    A quick stop at our local place, Glenbrook Brewing. I’ve been wanting to try Lewis Morris Exploration DIPA, a bigger version of Glenbrook’s APA. The Mosaic really shines with a huge red berry presence and it’s very drinkable for 7.4. Cheers to the weeked, BAs!
