What beer are you drinking now? #3776

This is still my #1 beer - when this is fresh there's nothing better, and this is fresh.



I won't lie - @Blogjackets post yesterday inspired me to make some sauce and meatballs today - looking forward to dinner shortly. There's also a bit of Italian hot sausage in there and some Thai chilies.

 

I haven't found any brown ales that would make it into my rotation either. Guess it's just not one of my preferred styles. Cheers!

LOL!! Re-christening I suppose, it's hard to break old habits Side bennie is that the house smells great right now.

 

Nice! Unfortunately I haven't seen it in bottles yet. I'm hoping I can catch some tho. You shouldn't be disappointed.

Settling in here ba. First try on this. Dry and pretty clean with good malt notes. Not in love with it by any stretch but not bad either.

I was into brown ales a few years ago. My favorite at the time was Maduro brown ale brewed by Cigar City. Here in Richmond, Legends brews a decent brown ale. Thirty years ago, my boss, coworker and I would go to Legends once a week for lunch and a pitcher (or two) of their brown ale.

Your dinner looks like it is going to be very good. We are having some sea critters for later.

You have very good taste in lagers and whiskey sir! Cannot speak to ganja since i have not imbibed since the early 80's... frankly kind of intimidated by the potency of the stuff available today!
