...glad you like it, Harley...I thought it was well-crafted, too...I have at least one bottle at home; may have to pickup another one to cellar...

Always a great day when a new Von Trapp hits the shelves! My opinion may be biased but one of the cleanest/most flavor Schwarz beers Ive had.

Still awaiting our first snowfall here in Connecticut, and I speak for all Nutmeggers when I say we are not happy.

Geez almighty than good we've reach hump day. Brutal week. Working some evenings to keep pace. Looked forward to this world class Augustiner Edelstoff. Expense beer but worth it in my book. Prost!

Hazy Little Thing, well BA's somehow a god damn semi got wedged under the 66th st overpass on I-75 northbound just south of Ocala. So my 15 minute ride home took 2 hours going 5 mph average speed. So no Shuckers pics today, we ain't going nowhere........85 and sunny....

Second pour, from another great brewery. Beyond the cask pours, this caught my eye.

    De Garde The Maison

    The Silver Stamp Bar Notes:
Spontaneous Wild Ale aged in oak barrels for three years. 5.5% ABV, 9 oz $12 pour into a round cocktail-ish glass.

Appearance: Golden brighter orange clear base, bright white creamy head leaves a thin fine coating over the base after receding, and clings to life with generous lacing throughout. Looks great! 4.75

    Aroma:
Nice funky bouquet, white grape, lemon, raspberries and a nice oak backing. 4.5

    Taste:
Crisp bold, full of wonderful funky white grape, citrus, peach and lemon. 4.5

Mouthfeel: Crisp, sharp sweet fruit tempered by a funk and dryness that results in a very enjoyable drinking experience. Light and easy drinking, substantial carbonation slowing me down a bit, light dryness and funk lingers on the finish. 4.5

    Overall:
This is a wonderful Wild Ale, hits all the high notes for me, proper measure of bold funk and full enjoyable flavors. Highly recommend! 4.75

Edelstoff is the only one available to me, but it is terrific. A true beer lover's beer. Just be prepared to bring your large wallet - $15/ 6pk of that very unfortunate 11.2 oz size bottle for me locally. I have not seen any other format around me either.

While I was up having a quick Pseudosue, my walking then drinking partner texted me to see if I felt like walking. So, back up at Tap 22 after a 3 mile walk for a couple more Pseudosue's. (Recycled pic from 1st visit of the day.)

That's actually not to far fetched for a quality import imo. I pay 4-5 for pint bottles and grab 4 at a time so it's similar pricing. Can't wait to try that 1.
