    Enjoying my first Blackout Stout from Great Lakes. One of those legendary beers for this longtime Advocate that i never had access to until this year. It is a classic RIS, nice and roasty with notes of dark chocolate and coffee and finishing hoppy and roasty. Nice beer!
    Heard an old Foo song on SXM.

    Back outside after watching the last couple minutes of the Bucks game. Nice win for Giannis-less Bucks against KD-less Suns. Beer is Shrimp Night from Hop Butcher. These guys are always solid in my book but this is a standout. They have a knack for mixing a bunch of different hops into a beautiful bouquet. This juice cocktail features Citra, Strata, Simcoe, & Motueka.

    Onto round 2, Burial's Skillet Donut Stout. Not sweet at all but roasty, coffee bean forward with a touch of lactose. Definitely one i can go back to every year.
    Stumbled into SXM's 90's and a Hip Hop top 30 countdown. Mind you, i am primarily an old rock and roll guy that is also into Blues, Jazz, some Country here and there. Have always heard of these legendary artists but never really listened to them. I fully enjoyed these tunes! Now mind you i did get into a little Rapper's Delight and The Message among others back in the early 80's college days.

    Overall, a very nice sour ale. It's long lasting and thick head is especially impressive for the style. The taste is absolutely phenomenal, too -- fruity and tart yet nicely balanced and complex.
