Special cheers to @Ocalafox and @DoctorZombies – very much enjoying your fine state, disappointed I went a little too far South to have a chance to bend and elbow with you fine BAs! Happy Friday, BAs!

Enjoying a Weldwerks Juicy Bits which started dropping into Western NC the first of February. Always desired to have this Greely, CO brewer's beer while living in PHX but alas distro started happening after i left town in 2021. Fantastic, bright and juicy NEIPA. Only complaint is that it comes across a bit too yeasty.
Heard a tune from the Power Station on SXM from back in my younger days. Still enjoy hearing this "supergroup".
    Cheers!

Maibock is excellent. I love it. Really stinking hard to find down here in Georgia. Especially that HB. Cheers!

Finally, beer time! Thanks @AzfromOz for the start!

Lagunitas - Stereohopic Vol 6. Altus & Simcoe

Haven't had a stereohopic before, but I'm really liking this one. Great tangerine, pine, and sweet backend notes.

    Cheers everybody!

Epervier, an IPA from Belgian brewery La Source (7%).

While the hop profile is a little mellow here overall, this still shows off the Barbe Rouge hops quite nicely, with those red berry notes standing out against the lighter citrus and tropical notes, with a herbal lemongrass accents as well.

A 2020 barrel aged Scotch Ale from under the stairs. Noon Whistle first released this as Bob Ross Did it and it is a must buy for me every year.

...as I reported in my status msg earlier this morning, I was at Peterson Space Force Base Fitness Center giving those beer calories hell once more...it's a huge facility...a decent view from one of the bigger rooms (of which only a small part is scene), but one can see the PSFB aircraft tower on the far left, the football / soccer field and track in front, and somewhat hidden by the window frame - Pikes Peak...also, met and exceeded my fitness goals for this week (actually had that done on Wednesday), so bring on more beer and auxiliary vices...hell, I'm 66 and won't live forever (and don't want to), but I'm in no rush to kick off yet and want to enjoy life in all aspects...personally, I think I like slow-roasting myself for 20+ minutes in the dry sauna post-workout best of all...
