    It was actually an interesting movie in that most people focused on the violent game but that was just the canvas. The corporate take over and the elite vs the regular people was the sinister storyline

    Silver Reef - Day Drink Believer (Weizenbock)

    It's been a long time since I had a bock and when I opened this I had no idea I was about to drink one (the description of "golden lager" made me think of a standard pale lager) but holy faeces is this delicious. Sweet, citrusy and thick AF. I need to open my mind to them bocks (weizen or not) out there. Many thanks to @NorsemanOne for sending me this.

    Well if you did it about 2 years ago, thanks. This one is on repeat sometimes. Always loved the Pet Shop Boys but had never heard this one. I'm from back in the 80's. I don't think this one was around then.

    This one was released by the PSB back in 2009, if memory serves. Keep in mind I’m a happy boozer and memory sometimes fails me well.

    I’ve probably posted about Aerosmith hundred of times over the past two years. I’m a bit of a maniac too. Cheers!

    Mostly clear, medium gold color; sparse carbonation; thick, billowing head, white and long lasting, sticky and rocky appearance. Very pleasant tropical fruit and floral aroma. Well-rounded flavor; lightly toasted grain infused with a slightly spicy and pine resin taste; modest sweetness provides contrast. Medium bodied; fine residual sugar presence; lightly sticky; semi-dry feel.

    I like this beer. It is rock solid across the board. Nice balance and complexity are involved. A beautiful old-school west coast India pale ale.
