    1) Unibroue Ce N'est Pas La Fin Du Monde (9.5%): A Belgian IPA from Canada with Galaxy, Cascade, Willamette, and Simcoe flavors of orange and stonefruit with an incredibly clean, yeasty and dry finish.
    versus
    2) Duvel Triple Hop Citra (9.5%): A Belgian IPA from Belgium with Citra hops for flavors of orange and lemon citrus, some bubblegum and Belgian flavors with a yeasty, balanced finish. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Winner:
    2) Duvel Triple Hop Citra
: Unibroue had promise with some good hops and hoppy aromas. The flavor however was overshadowed by the strong carbonation and yeast that completely dried and cleaned the palate of any flavor. I don't know I haven't been too impressed with Unibroue in my experiences. Duvel has a ton of Citra hops. Nice lemon and orange flavors with a touch of Belgian spice and bread malts. Far more balanced and drinkable and better for a Belgian IPA.

Do you have a recipe? I have some ground Bison thawing out in the fridge. Was trying to decide what to make for dinner tomorrow. We're both sick and tired of the traditional meatloaf.

Clever Girl. An IPA brewed by Triple Crossing. I think it has been many months since the brewery last released this beer.

I do not - and to be honest, every now and then you make something that just fails to be. That's how this dish was, it basically sucked I didn't particularly like the Yakiniku sauce - it was really salty. and I didn't like the consistency of the finished meatloaf either. @tasterschoice62 could probably offer up some good suggestions for bison.

Sometimes you just have to chalk it up as a failure, this was one of those times. Cheers!

That has happened to me a few times. Know I try to be real careful (if that even makes a difference) when I pull them from the plastic holders.

Also, some breweries use something other than plastic (some sort of stretchy material) for their can holders. Be careful with carrying those. Cans can slip out and usually when they hit the ground things do not turn out well.

Man you know it l. That's why music and cooking food kind of go hand in hand. Without experimentation there's no joy. Taking new risks is what it's all about. Sounds like a good idea Larry but we never know until we try!!
Cheers my friend! Keep on rockin and cookin

I am not a real big fan of Irish red ales but one of my favorites is Rockville Red brewed locally by Midnight Brewery.

Next up is Coppertail Brewing SMASH (Single Malt and Single Hop) IPA with Enigma hop and Pilsner malt. This is a pretty cool way for noobs like me to learn the taste of a single hop in a beer, and it's fricken good!

I usually grill bison burgers that's my favorite way. Easy and I like the taste of the unadulterated meat. But hell you can do anything that you would do with beef. Meatballs etc. The best part is the taste is bolder and it's lower in fat and cholesterol.

Chinese takeout from the great local spot up the road from me. Equal Parts MKII Helles Lager in the glass. One of the better lagers in town, but I don't think I have seen cans of it before yay :sunglasses:
