Calipari will make millions every year whether KU gets past the second round or not. Eventually, the alums may complain but it will take awhile. These "one and done" programs don't win many championships anymore with a bunch of 18 and 19 year olds. KU hasn't won since 2012 and Duke hasn't won since 2015.

Fonta Flora Coracoid - Cocoa & Nutmeg - 14% ABV blend of an 18 month double barrel-aged English Barleywine and an 18 month bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stout conditioned on Videri cocoa nibs and house-zested whole nutmeg.



Really good beer, but I'm not getting any nutmeg. Just bitter cocoa.

A fairly productive day BAs…I helped Mrs. Z move furniture around, worked on cleaning out the garage, then took the dogs for a long walk. The weather was beautiful, breezy and low 60s. Just unloaded another car full of stuff, drinking Stone IPA:



Bitter citrus and lemon peel - West Coast baby! Another beer from my busted Pacific Region bracket. Sitting on the balcony, it’s 62° and strong breeze out of the west…simply gorgeous. I’m going to relax, then check back into the March Beer Madness. Cheers!

Notes: Collaboration with Vitamin Sea

Pouring with a glowing orange haze, our version of this collaboration was brewed with a base of 2 row barley as well as a massive amount of flaked, malted, and naked oats in the grist. Hopped with Mosaic and BRU - 1 on the hot side and then fermented with an extremely expressive yeast. From there, we dry hopped this with more Mosaic and BRU-1 and some Pacific Sunrise. We’re getting big notes of crushed white grapes, honeydew melon, and some pina colada vibes.

 

That is probably what helped lead to its demise here. It was just too dear for the market
