    Overall a crappy wet kinda day here today....just wrapping my daughter's b-day gifts for the trip south to Columbus Saturday, etc

    @jzeilinger ......Hey Jeff - sorry I did not get to respond to your query from yesterday's post - YES - we did a great father / daughter "Dead & Co" concert a few backs, with John Meyer on lead guitar - awesome outdoor concert at a cool local venue called Blossom Music Center (where the Cleveland Orchestra plays in summer etc) - thanks for asking!

    ...believe me, brother, a lot of the early morning rising is likely due to old age insomnia coupled with worries about the state of the world (i.e, the classic 'get off my lawn' mentality)...still, being an early morning delivery paper boy in my youth in Ohio (the Cleveland Plain Dealer) may have played a part in my propensity towards being an early morning riser...I love the atmosphere and relative solitude of the early morning...being too drunk or stoned to appreciate that scenario doesn't compute with me...the dawn has always been clean and pure to me, mentally, visually, and philosophically...

    You're totally right and I couldn't agree more.

    With that brewery specifically, I find their restaurant (garage grill) serves beers WAY too cold whereas the brewery proper was just a tad too warm.

    Nonetheless, I was happy to finally have tried it and would actually really like to make it up there again soon to give it another go.

    In my eyes going out for a beer is significantly better than not going out for a beer

    Aaaaayoooo advocates,

    Checking in way earlier than usual. Today was a nice light trot (4.5mi), so I am hitting this.
    Block 15 Deep Seek west coast IPA. 6.8% - right weight for me these days, and as you might imagine... it doesn't suck. DDH but with traditional PNW hops as far as I can tell. Good stuff.
    Gearing up for two biggies Sat-Sun runs, hope to join in briefly tomorrow, just gotta be level-headed.
