YQH-1320 Hop Profile
This is a new hop variety from our friends at Yakima Quality Hops and is available for the first time in 2022. YQH-1320 is a found variety that Tim at YQH describes as "Clean and bright. With tropical, citrus, and stone fruit." Sensory analysis of the 2022 crop picks out aromas of pineapple, guava, lime, white peach, and orange zest.

Good evening, all! I'm drinking Caskets Caskets from The Veil. I'd heard good things about this brewery, and was rather surprised to see it showing up around here. We've been seeing stuff from lots of other name breweries (e.g. WeldWerks, Other Half, Aslin) as well. That means I have to step up my game a bit. This was canned on 1/09/23, but it tastes just fine to me. DDH with equal amounts of Idaho 7 and Citra. Notes of grapefruit, mango, pine, bubblegum, perfectly balanced and way too drinkable. I deliberately took this photo with the Oleg Cassini sticker showing on this beautiful glass. Three bones at T.J.Maxx, and one of my best finds ever. Cheers!

I have a "Let freedom ring" bell near my front door. Every year 4th of April at 6.01 pm it rings three times for MLK. After that a Furios IPA by Surly Brewing, Minnesota this year...55 years ago and not in the news, so sad

 

My Mother and Father are buried at the New Garden Friends Meeting Cemetery a mile from where I grew up and now live. There are unknown British soldiers from The Battle of Guilford Courthouse in mass graves from the battle in 1781 buried here. Also a number of Colonial soldiers. Markers note folks born all over Europe going back into the1600s. I played and marveled at this place as a child. A major piece of The Underground Railroad (Levi Coffin) is across the street behind Guilford College in ancient deep woods. Walking around in this graveyard and grounds is a spirit-filled reality. It is truly sacred in every conceivable way. It's beautiful.

Henri pissed but resting comfortably after his annual. Vet said he was doing as well as can be expected for 21 years old, but if I was him I wouldn’t be buying unripe bananas. He gave him an injection that’s once monthly to help his osteoporosis.
