1) Old Nation Rubikon (4.8%): An Italian-style Pilsner from Michigan with flavors of lemon citrus and floral hops with a sweet and smooth bread malt.
versus
2) Summit Twin Pils (5.1%): A Kellerbier beer from Minnesota that is a newer version of the Keller Pils with flavors of floral and grassy Noble hops with a crisp and clean finish. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Summit Twin Pils: A battle of a couple of unique pilsners. First try and Rubikon. It has a ton of flavor of lemon and bread. Leans slightly sweet and heavier. Very enjoyable, but lacks that crispness of a German Pils.
It goes against one of the best in Summit. Picked up a pack of my favorite Kellerbier for the year. although surprised it's best-by 7/2023 (not even halfway through baseball season), so wondering if I ended up grabbing last years pack or if it was canned in the winter the best-by is six months? Still excited to have it again and drinks fantastic.

I hate to say it, but I was disappointed by this O'Dell Sippin' Pretty. I like O'Dell and I like sours, but I should've gone with my gut in thinking this is a cash grab attempt at a mass market beer.

 

I guess I'm on a bit of a roll, but I don't need to review this one before I remember to post it here haha. Some classic Coors Banquet. Even though it's the same company and this is more expensive, I still think miller high life is better.

I just got back from getting mine. They don't make people hang for 15 minutes after getting it anymore, however they have to let the vaccine sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before they can give it so there will likely be some minor waiting involved.

Afterwards I stopped and ended up picking up some fresh Lord Hobo Boom Sauce.
