What beer are you drinking now? #3864

They had that beer here i Central MA for a couple of months and then it just disappeared and I haven't seen it since. That is a good beer!

Just got back from my granddaughter’s recital. We had to wade through Taylor Swift concert traffic.

My granddaughter did great as did all the others, they put on a really good show.

Here is an interesting one.

Turvebol, Lambic, 9.7% ABV

Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen & Café-Brouwerij Loterbol Tuverbol is a blend of 3 Fonteinen Lambik with Loterbol Blond.

Review over at the NBW thread. I like it a lot, it is more funky and oaky than most Lambics. Not nearly as tart/acidic/sour. Its also very high ABV for the style.

Anyway, sipping on this and need to listen to something ethereal and contemplative.

Ralph Towner's Solstice will work, what do you know more ECM jazz This album is other worldly.

 

Yup each has their own views. But as I recently commented in the 'fresh IPA' thread I share JK's view on HT. And I think it applies to many more beers than just that particular beer. Check it out. He also pours into a glass - another "rule" I tend to not adhere to drink from the can.
He cracks an 8 month old Heady. Not the same but not bad.

 

Agree, I kept a Heady at room temp for 5 months and took it for my first beer after riding the 60 mile, 6,200 feet climbing ride in Dahlonega GA, it was great!!

 

Just got back awhile ago from Mom in Laws Service. Thought it was perfect.
What really made made day was the fact that just about everyone there said how great are 2 kids are. Alot of compliments on how we raised them. Not sure what I did but it sure makes me proud.

I just think it applies to more beers than just those. But how do you know unless you experiment? I've plenty of malty failures but I've had a few that really blended well after some time.

Well I won $24 on the Preakness but lost about $28 on the day....no biggie. I'm now drinking a Sam Summer Ale, because all Sam beer is bogo at Publix this week, so 12 for $12, I did get a 6 of the "new" Boston lager.....to be tried later.....Skrewball!!!
