Thanks! Returned the Canyon. It had a ticking sound. This one was 1k more expensive but without noise and 105 di2 instead .

 

I really dig that Destihl. The Tourbus Hazy DIPA is crazy good as well. Cheers!

Watched Casablanca last night, the GF's favorite movie last night. I think it fits the criteria (mostly as defined by me) for a perfect movie. Made me think of others I think might fit the criteria and the first that jumped out is my favorite movie, The Sting, so we're watching that now.

Enjoying a Forest and Main "west coast IPA" that had a little sting in the pricing, but I figured the GF should get to try her favorite style from them as I also picked up a mild by them.

I know there's some discussion over in the BA box about what "west coast IPA" means these days. This one isn't as amber as it looks in my photo but is hazy. It also has a strong bitterness that is reminiscent of the IPAs I had in my earlier days of craft beer exploration. Not bad at all.

Post breakfast juice - “Lucky Day” IPA by Central Coast Brewing, San Luis Obispo, CA:



I can’t decipher the canning date, maybe January 2023. A Tavour purchase. This beer won Gold 2016 WBC, Gold 2018 GABF. For me, this is an Ok IPA. Faded?

I gotta say, I was firmly of the opinion that spam was trash UNTIL I discovered both spam Loco Mocos and spam musubi. Both excellent Hawaiian dishes and a pinnacle of comfort food (imo)

I think this is a very underrated beer and would be excellent for those looking to get into craft.

Forever Locked DIPA . Not loving.

 

Probably the only brewery in the UK craft scene that do 586ml tins, full UK pint. The only one I can think of anyway.

Despite it being a DIPA, when drinking a pint I love using a proper pint pot!

 

Well it's not stout weather outside but we do have the air turned down to 77. Stonecloud Brewing Coconut Junkie barrel aged stout is amazing, and 14.4%! Thanks @russpowell! not sure how I'm gonna grill some lamb and steak after this monster!

Hello BAs! Thanx @EdmundExley for 3865. I'm trying to mix up my fitness now & again so this morning ran an enjoyably fast & hard 2.6 miles. Used a diff pair of shoes I put away last fall. Keep it short, not relaxed but rather intense...kinda like some beers: Excited! And excited I am to pick up where I left off ystrdy, ready 2 rate & review Modist Last of The Best Dry Hopped Citra Pilsner. As mentioned b4, gorgeous & succulent lemon fruit, fresh yeasty bread. A home run beer mates! (if you like the style) and another cracker of a day. Cheers!
