This beer pretty much sucks but I bought a six pack so I need to consume it. I really don't know what motivated me to buy it since I pretty much think all the "Little Thing" beers suck.

 

Cool - I have not seen that one around here yet but I will be on the lookout. Cheers!

 

Proper nice stout.. the cabernet element is subtle, pleasant and effective.. good stuff!!

 

1) BlackStack Water Pipes (7.2% no canning date): A DDH NEIPA from Minnesota with Strata and Talus for flavors of grapefruit citrus, OJ pulp, pineapple, mango, and lightly herbal.
versus
2) Fair State Jacuzzi Suit (6.8% canned 4/20/23): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Luminosa for flavors of orange and tropics, soft and clean (Mismatched the two beers blind)

Winner:
1) BlackStack Water Pipes: Blind Minnesota NEIPA battle. First go at this one from Fair State who I know can make an amazing beer. They use the Luminosa hop which is becoming popular. My only other experience with Luminosa was from BlackStack and it packs some great orange, pineapple, and tropical flavors. Loved the idea and Luminosa hop from Fair State but I didn't think the beer stood out as anything exceptional.
Second go at this one from BlackStack with the greens, Strata and Talus, a wonderful hop combination. Far more impressive on the second try. Incredibly juicy, with just a little bit of dank and green OJ pulp to clean the palate a bit. Delectable hop combination if you like NEIPAs to have a bit of that greenness.

 

Lol! I hate it when I do that. That's the 6 pack that is usually a 4 pack a month or two later.

 

Thats the inspiration I needed

I appreciate the internet reveal, as for the beer,
My take was not a hop aspect, but a bit of sulpur bite.
Dry finish, with chalky texture.
I am likely over thinking it.

I see no compelling reason to continue drinking that shitty Little Thing so down my Little Drain it went, and the remaining 4 cans will probably follow because I really don't like that beer at all. Trying to cleanse my palate now with UHP. I will never buy a SN Little Thing beer again.

MGD is my fave. For some reason, I can't stand High Life. I don't know why...

 

Interesting take, thanks for your perspective. I have 3 more cans to figure it out, haven't reviewed.
