    3 Floyds '22 Crushing Mass (Imperial Stout aged over a year in Willett barrel with coffee). My first bottle of this vintage and it's going on 10 months. The rich barrel character adds bourbon spirit, drying charred oak tannin, vanillin, and coconut to go with the smooth dark roast, rich coffee. The base adds much-needed sweetness and some complexity, bringing caramel, toffee, some molasses, nondescript dark fruit, dark chocolate, slight tobacco, roasted malt. Top tier for BA coffee stouts.

    There were 8 altogether, 2 bulls/6 cows. I just got skunked in Tetons and Yellowstone. I’ve been several times to both over the years…and by “finally” this is the first time I’ve ever seen Moose in the wild! Cheers mate!

    I’m settled in for the evening, drinking “Saddle Bronc” a Brown Ale - English by Black Tooth Brewing that took Silver at GABF (2016):

    It is a fantastic beer imo. I wish I had more. Have 1 left. I do plan on taking a trip to LA soon tho it's not a bad drive from Dallas.

    ...I have the Mosaic Records Complete Blue Note Recordings 63-70, so I've listened to the tune(s) before, but didn't pay any mind to things until I saw that Blue Note is re-releasing the album on vinyl...personally, my favorite Hank Mobley is 'Straight No Filter'...
