    ... @ATL6245 - one of my favorite Cannonball albums that I originally got as a download (eMusic, perhaps)...besides his brother, Joe Zawinal and Yusef Lateef are also part of the combo...anyway, may consider looking for an actual LP version of this album...

    ...I feel fortunate to actually have seen Miles Davis (in West Berlin) and Pharoah Sanders (Washington DC)...so, I have seen some of the legends from the 60s and 70s...there are still some great ones out now (Branford Marsalis was in Colorado Springs a few years back, plus I've seen Joshua Redman and Houston Person in the Springs, too)...granted Houston is gone, but the point being is that there are some great players out there that deserve just as much accolades for their musicianship...

    I got into jazz too late to seen any of those live. You're right and especially like Marsalis. There were just so many of then back years ago.
