One more for the road and my closer. It felt good to pay off one of my cars today. I detailed it inside and out. 19,000 miles and it looks like new.

@Argail - thanks for mentioning the new Sigur Ros. I had listened to one of their older albums at work on Monday, and after your post last night, I listened to the new one today. First new music in ten years, even though they’ve been playing some of it for years. The below video is two years old, and my god, what a performance. I’ve played it three times today, may watch it again. I’ve been a fan of theirs for over twenty years, and they are amazingly creative.

 

That’s awesome,,, my brand new used car has about a year left in a five year loan! Kicking it at 85k miles,,, it’s a Subaru so that’s not even high mileage, I’m a hoping

That’s the first thing I though of, I only picked it up because it was on the sidewalk in front of an elementary school.

Coffee is more clearly bitter as well, and chocolate a bit more subdued but pleasant on the aftertaste.

I have a 2009 Honda CRV with about 85,000 miles on it. I was going to use it as a trade in for a new car but my sister talked me out of it. I guess I will just keep it and use the financing saved to buy good beer.

 

Years ago I wouldn’t have had a problem lighting it up.

 

I"m driving a 2006 Volvo XC70 - great car and has about 223,000 miles on it. F'ck the price of new cars. I'd buy another used Volvo in a heartbeat. My mechanic loves Volvos and like he says, if you maintain the oil they'll run forever. I bought my car from him so I knew he wasn't going to screw me. I've been doing business with him for years and he's one of the best mechanics around. Plus, I fix his computers for him so a lot of times he trades off the labor cost for me.

 

My youngest is 14. The plan is to keep up on it and give it to him for his 16th birthday. My dad wouldn’t even let me drive his car at 16. My older brothers ruined that for me being the youngest I was on my own. True story, my first car I sold my baseball card collection for $900 and bought a 1975 Chevy Nova. I bought a few hot rods later on in life. Cheers!
