    I didn't know we had air quality issues from the Canadian wildfires until after I had mowed my daughter's yard. I just thought it was a little hazy in the morning and would clear up as the day went on. If I would've known, I would've put it off until after it had cleared out. Guess I should watch the local news a little more often. We're supposed to be in the clear by Thursday is what they're saying.

    ...I find watching the news aggravating and nearly pointless in my life nowadays (mostly 'news entertainment' as Mrs. BeerGoot aptly described it a while back)...but I do follow weather on a regular basis...any current events (international, national, regional, local) I follow online when I'm inclined to (usually BBC, Fox, Al Jazeera, and Washington Times)...BBC, The Conversation, and Reason RSS feeds also...

    Found out they plan to close Monday nights for seemingly no reason. Talked with the house manager for a spell and she thinks this location will lose 70k a month doing so. (Lehi, UT is a hotspot for tech/MLM business people who are ALWAYS here)

    Hope it's a decision that doesn't stick out of sympathy for the servers, bartenders, BoH people here.
