Great afternoon in and around the 88 degree pool. Current HI is 101 so this Summerfest is the perfect beer.

 

Moving up the the abv ladder. Turns out I don't have to go to the store. Yeah buddy. About to burn a fat bowl of cheesecake @LarryV

Tex Mex Mexican style lager 5.5% - Big Country

 

Alaskan Amber (5.3%): An Altbier from Alaska with flavors of caramel and amber malt. Toasty and clean.

One of the best Altbiers and craft beers in my opinion. The beer that got me into craft beer. A craft beer gateway drug as @DavetotheB says. It has complex flavors that remind me of cinnamon rolls and monkey bread. Yet, the best part of the beer is it’s drinkability. Incredibly clean for an altbier and still drinkable in July. That’s what makes this beer special.

I was in Lupulin Brewing's territory last week at this time, so I had to purchase some of their beer. This beer looked so delicious when @MattyG85 used to post it when it first came out. Then @AdmiralOzone sent me some, and I was blown away. It tastes so good in this heat. @Danmullens1, @cheeseheadinMinneapolis gave me a beer that you, your dad, and I should split before Family Night. It is like 19% ABV, from Eau Claire, WI. Then we will hit the dance floor at Stadium View.

 

That sounds good- I plan on rolling up a doob of GMO later with a little bit of Wedding Cake wax.

My neighbor invited me over for their 4th of July bash later so I'll probably be going over there later. Just across the street so no worries about driving or anything.
