    1) Toppling Goliath King Sue (7.8% canned 4/14/23): A NEIPA from Iowa with flavors of orange citrus, citrus flower, with a smooth finish.
    versus
    2) Toppling Goliath Haze Bus (7.8% canned 4/24/23): A NEIPA from Toppling Goliath with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra for flavors of orange, papaya, green melon, and mango with hints of coconut and a bite. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) TG King Sue:
Another Toppling Goliath Haze Battle. Did this one back in May, but these two were due for a repeat battle now with a bit more age approaching three months. Haze Bus shows a tropical and green papaya, melon, and coconut flavor, aging well and still with a bite off the end. The flavors are pretty darn good, but the mouthfeel isn't as soft. The durability and drinkability of The King is soft, smooth, and superior.

Too warm to enjoy a beer outside. This one was gifted me from a friend. It's pretty solid. Belhaven Scottish Ale. I think I nailed pour with the widget too haha. Cheers!

Wow, what a beautiful Sunday! We had breakfast at a hole-in-the-wall diner in Tuckahoe this morning and I've been enjoying a book on the history of Savannah (one of our favorite cities) during the Civil War. For New Beer Sunday I popped a bottle of a special variant of Slack Tide Brewing Co,'s Bell Buoy Belgian Blonde Ale. This version was conditioned for 14 months on Jersey peaches, then aged for over a year in in Pineau des Charentes barrels, and then bottle-conditioned. Wow, it's good! Cheers from the South Jersey Shore!

Over the last 40 plus years, we have been to OBX, NC probably over 60 times. Stayed everywhere from Corolla all the down to Frisco.

Just found my new favorite brewery!

Absolutely amazing beer. Its one of those beers that you sit back and say this is just damn beautiful and elegant craftsmanship.

    Cheers!

So, my COROS GPS watch (software) thinks I'm exhausted and that it'll take 92 hours before I'm fully recovered.

    I disagree.

TRVE Scorn and a snack, FTW! Now let's jam to an underrated classic.... love the riff in this.

    Cheers!

Rothaus Tannenzapfle (5.1% canned 9/2022): A German Pilsner with citrusy and floral aromas and flavors of smooth pale Munich malts. Balanced.

Another good and authentic German Pils. Higher ratings and supposedly more spicy. Not quite detecting that probably because it's not as fresh as I'd like. It's still rounded and drinks well. Freshness may play a role, but I'd rank the German Pilsners of today:
    1) Einbecker
    2) Rothaus
    3) Veltins
