    Happy Sunday BA's! Lazy last day of vacation, laundry done, that's about it. We're now watching stage 21 of this years TDF. I'm enjoying a Revolution Brewing Cafe' Deth I believe was gifted to me by @ChicagoJ.......but it is from the Sheboygan weekend.

    My last beer was good, but left a dry oaky wooden linger in my mouth that I don’t like from some BBA impy stouts…drinking something l know I like, and joining @Ocalafox in tipping a “Deth’ s Tar”, my last can from buying a 4/pk at the brewery when I visited it with @ChicagoJ back in May on my way to Sheboygan:

    Canned 9/29/22. Poured at 54°. Boozy bourbon (14.8%) well balanced with chocolate base. No popsicle stick dry wooden barrel flavor or feel. I like a lot!

    The wife won a complimentary meal for the soft opening at Lazy Dog in Kissimmee.
    They have a few in house beers in tap that are brewed at Melvin Brewing.

    This is their Liquid Blanket IPA, kind of an old school IPA with a decent malt finish.

    What I really like about this 'aged' hazy (ok, "juicy") India pale ale is the light presence of hop bitterness. Too many times these type of beers get really harsh and abrasive with the hop bitterness. Not so here. I have no idea if the intensity of the flavor and hop presence would be dialed up with a fresh version, but this nearly four month old beer is a joy to drink.
