I know, I know…ABInbev, Evil Empire and all that. This beer is near perfect for purpose…sitting on my patio enjoying a quiet summer evening.

Lifting the best beer I have in my fridge to toast my pal Henri

It was time today for Henri to pass on. We were lucky and blessed to have him in our lives for over 21 years. It’s going to be tough without him hanging with me anymore

these are my favorites out of the hundreds of pictures we have of him. It was a tradition to watch the Last Waltz every Thanksgiving and he did it 21 times with me. The other is his Henri smile, he always looked like he was smiling. Rest easy my buddy.

Sorry to hear that Mike but 21 yrs was a gift to start. You did the right and humane thing so you can take consolence with that fact.

 

another ipa from @beergoot. That Pliny was fantastic. I still think heady is the best imperial ipa but Pliny is a close second.

 

Heres a limited release from TF Brewing...A grisette Farmhouse ale..see the second pic for all the details..Although it looks like shit in the picture...it looked real nice when it was full with the clear bottle..

God bless you and your wife.. I know you nursed your Henri from the brink last summer and gave him another year. That weekend in the throes of super insomnia I actually prayed for Henri (and me).

She is doing much better. Thanks for asking. This upcoming Wednesday she has an appointment with the orthopedic doc. Here is hoping the boot cast comes off and she is read the riot act that she ifs not a cripple and can move around more.
