Well the new grill is finally put together....thank goodness. Ghost in the Machine outside on the old girl.

 

Drinking Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye, since I laid the gauntlet down in my earlier post, I have to give the nod to Flipside and I also don’t think this reissue Ruthless Rye is as good as the original

Doing some mini fridge cleaning this afternoon…lunch beer I believe may be courtesy of @ChicagoJ - Beachwood’s Amalgamator IPA:



A tasty American IPA. Bitter hops, firm malt base. Passion fruit and guava. Some dank in the nose as beer warmed. Good stuff! Thanks Jason!

Despite living only 240 miles away, I've never visited Manchester. Planning on stopping there next year for a couple of nights on the way to the Lake District though. So many good taprooms and bars there.

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest in the glass. Review over at the NBW thread. I enjoy it, but definitely more of an American hop character here. A good early afternoon beer while I continue on with James McBride's new novel. that is really great.

 

Not a working trip…I’m retired…haven’t been to that town yet and have always wanted to go there…I’ll keep you posted nonetheless. Cheers mate!

I water the outside plants at least every weekend (most are succulents) given the excessive heat…for giggles here’s me drinking a Torpedo Now showing thermometer in the shade at 98:



…even with my big ass fan blasting me, I lasted like two minutes on the patio…back inside, looking outside…Cheers gang!
