Who Loves The Sun? I do. It's a Blonde Ale by Notch, fermented cold with Kölsch yeast and dry hopped with Styrian Dragon, refreshing with clean fruit profile.

Really looking forward to enjoying the three Notch beers from @Qu3st , heard so many good things about this brewery.

Only posting this one here since there is no Ryewine Appreciation Thread and I already posted a cellar review earlier this year for this vintage, which is still excellent as always.

I'm looking to get more, this is a really good example of the style IMO. Though Saint Arnold has done a really bad job of getting this to multiple stores. I can only get it at the downtown Specs so far, which is not a place I go to often. Hoping by the time the weather actually gets good, I'll find it more often ha.

 

Hello friends! Thank you @EmperorBevis for 3975. I had a good band rehearsal last night. Am amazed that Chet's, one of my fave little beer stores, does not sell Schlenkerla. Nothing. They've other beers from DL. Very odd. Oh well. I'll keep looking. Had two new brews last night: Barrel Theory- Are We Having Fun Yet? DDH HDIPA. Totally outstanding (they have yet to disappoint) and a Blackstack- Enter The Dragon DIPA which IMHO is a big mess taste-wise. Too sweet as well for my tastes. NTL happy. <> Lawn chop day here. Sunny and cool. All set here with duds, buds, and suds So b4 I begin the work: Schlafly Kolsch. Cheers! More to come this fine day.

The aim of the brewer was to make a beer that could be sold for less than CAD$2.00. Mission accomplished! It's $1.85.
