This is my first Alien Church ever, I remember an esteemed BA washing his hair with this. Aroma was nice as soon as I popped the can, taste is pretty balanced. Nice to see Tired Hands locally. Cheers!

This Modestman ⨉ Definitive collab really seemed to fly under the radar.

Had to stop at my favorite Indianapolis brewery before heading back home. Guggman Haus Cosmic Horizon IPA (Galaxy, Simcoe, Mosaic). These guys are known for their hazies and for good reason, but this is a damn good American IPA too. Sweet bready notes from the malt balance out, yet still allow the hop character to shine of passionfruit, ruby red grapefruit flesh and peel, mango, tangerine, floral, earthy dank, and pine resin. Big, resinous bitterness on this one. Loving it.

 

Have wings in the oven and this beer back in the refrigerator to finish hoping the hot sauce and wings goodness will make this more palatable to my sweet averse palate.

Full review in the New Beer Sunday #968 thread. Bottom line, I think this is a good beer / representation of the style, but looking at the scores for my other five Maibocks, hopefully I'll remember this is not a style suited for my preferences.

I no longer follow the NFL, but do follow "The Feather's" picks with my brother's Vegas wagers. He was 60% last year, and worth a watch if you play fantasy or bet on games. His Green Bay over 7 1/2 wins this season is his lock of the year. Released Detroit for Thursday (Winner). His Sunday picks are Cincinnati - 2 1/2, Atlanta -3 1/2, New Orleans -3, Jacksonville -5, Pittsburgh + 2 1/2, Green Bay Money Line and Dallas -3 (though my brother said this line changed so he laid off).
